For washing, the laboratory must follow the washing conditions indicated on the product. If ironing is permitted, the product is ironed once after the last care cycle.
In the case of a report presenting two results for color fading, the first with a suppressor and the second without, the latter result will be used to assess the product's compliance with the eco-modulation criteria.
In the case of "all-over" printing, the assessment of color change is recorded under "product color fading."
When the print is "placed," this assessment is recorded under "patterns and embroidery."
In the case of products that are already "pilled" or "frayed" when new, the rating may be "relative" in order to assess the difference between the product in its initial state and the product after the care cycles.
