Two documents are required:

1. The Scope Certificate (SC) of the entity whose license number appears on the GOTS label, covering the production period declared in the TC.
    
2. The Transaction Certificate (TC) between the marketer and the upstream supplier, specifying the relevant product references (box 10, “Certified Products”). For finished products, the TC must include additional information (for example, in box 12) stating that the products are labeled in accordance with the requirements, and ideally specify the license number indicated on the label. If this information is not included on the TC, a sworn statement will be required. The attestation template is available in the downloadable resources under “GOTS Attestation.”

In any case, the exact names of the references must be clearly indicated on the supporting documents.
