The Reuse Fund is one of two funding schemes introduced in 2023 to develop the second-hand sector for used CHF (Clothing textiles, Household linens and Footwear), to meet the targets set out in the specifications: 120,000 tons reused per year from 2024.
This fund is financed by the eco-contributions paid by brands (producers placing clothing textiles, household linens and footwear on the market) to Refashion.
It is dedicated exclusively to Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) operators and includes Traceability Support and Calls for Expressions of Interest (see What are the different types of financial support under the Reuse Fund?). Its aim is to encourage second-hand operators to improve traceability and to develop their second-hand CHF offering.
