In accordance with Article L.541-9-5 of the Environment Code marketers who do not comply with their legal obligations risk administrative penalties (either a fine as high as €1,500 per unit or per tonne of product concerned for a natural person and €7,500 for a legal entity, and, if necessary, a daily penalty of up to €20,000 until the measures cited by the administration decision concerned have been met).

Moreover, communicating the plans to the eco-organisation is a contractual obligation according to the standard membership contract: members who do not meet the 31 July 2023 deadline for submitting their plan will be in breach of their contract with Refashion.
